How does it work?

Real Asset Tokenization on DEFI MINT works by digitizing ownership rights in physical assets and creating digital tokens that represent these ownership rights on a blockchain. Here's a step-by-step overview of how it works:

  1. Asset Identification: The first step is to identify the asset that will be tokenized. This could be anything from real estate to art to commodities. The asset is thoroughly evaluated and appraised to determine its value and to ensure that it meets the necessary criteria for tokenization.

  2. Asset Ownership: The next step is to verify ownership of the asset and establish legal ownership rights. This is typically done through the use of smart contracts, which are self-executing contracts with the terms of the agreement directly written into code.

  3. Token Creation: Once ownership is established, digital tokens are created to represent ownership rights in the asset. These tokens are typically created on a blockchain, such as Ethereum, and are called ERC-20 tokens. Each token represents a fraction of the total asset value and can be traded and transferred like any other cryptocurrency.

  4. Liquidity Provision: In order to provide liquidity to the token holders, the tokens are listed on decentralized exchanges (DEXs) Sushiswap, allowing investors to buy and sell the tokens at any time. Additionally, liquidity providers can stake their tokens and earn rewards for providing liquidity to the market.

  5. Asset Management: The assets are managed by the DEFI MINT (DAO). This entity is responsible for ensuring that the asset is maintained and managed in a way that maximizes its value.

Real Asset Tokenization on DEFI MINT can bring several benefits, such as fractional ownership, increased liquidity, and transparency to the ownership of real-world assets.
